Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Shenying Yangzhen Decoction combined with autologous concentrated growth factor(CGF) in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia with blood heat and wind dryness. Methods A total of 60 patients with androgenetic alopecia with blood heat and wind dryness were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 30 patients in each group. The patients in the control group were given injection of autologous CGF, and those in the treatment group were given oral administration of Shenying Yangzhen Decoction in addition to the treatment in the control group. The two groups were compared in terms of the symptoms of alopecia, the syndrome score of blood heat and wind dryness, hairrelated indicators under dermoscopy, and adverse reactions. Results After treatment, both groups had significant reductions in the scores of white dandruff, scalp pruritus, dry hair, and sense of heat in head(P<0.05), and the treatment group had significantly greater reductions than the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, both groups had significant increases in hair density(P<0.05) and mean hair shaft diameter and significant reductions in perifollicular sign and poor hairs(P<0.05), and the treatment group had significant better results than the control group (P<0.05). Among the 60 patients, only 2 patients experienced transient erythema, and the other patients did not experience obvious adverse reactions. Conclusion Shenying Yangzhen Decoction combined with autologous CGF has a marked clinical effect and good safety in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia with blood heat and wind dryness.
