Abstract:Objective To establish the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) fingerprint of Dendrobium huoshanense, and to provide a basis for further improving the quality standard of Dendrobium huoshanense. Methods The methanol extract of Dendrobium huoshanense was analyzed on an Agilent C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm),with a methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid solution as the mobile phase for gradient elution, at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, a detection wavelength of 240 nm, and a column temperature of 30 ℃. Cluster analysis, principal component analysis, and PCA load diagram were used to evaluate the results. Results The HPLC fingerprints of Dendrobium huoshanense from different producing places in Huoshan County were established. Fourteen common peaks were obtained, and two of them were identified. The HPLC fingerprint similarity of the 13 batches of Dendrobium huoshanense was greater than 0.850. The cluster analysis, principal component analysis, and PCA load diagram all showed a difference in quality between the Dendrobium huoshanense from different producing places. Conclusion The fingerprints of Dendrobium huoshanense can be identified accurately by the three employed methods of statistical analysis, which provides a scientific basis for the harvesting and quality control of Dendrobium huoshanense.
