Objective To investigate the clinical effect of royal tendon-soothing maneuver in the treatment of fibromyalgia.Methods A total of 30 patients with fibromyalgia were enrolled and treated with royal tendon-soothing maneuver for 6 weeks. The fibromyalgia impact questionnaire (FIQ) was used to evaluate patients' quality of life, and the numerical rating scale (NRS) and the number of tenderness points were used to evaluate the change in pain.Results After six weeks of treatment, the patients had significant reductions in the FIQ and NRS scores and the number of tenderness points (P<0.05).Conclusion Royal tendon-soothing maneuver has a good clinical effect in the treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome.
