Objective To investigate the clinical effect of redblue light combined with Tanshinone Capsule in the treatment of acne vulgaris and its effect on the serum levels of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interleukin6 (IL-6). Methods A total of 80 patients with acne vulgaris who had typical clinical symptoms were divided into treatment group and control group, with 40 patients in each group. The patients in the treatment group were given redblue light combined with Tanshinone Capsule, and those in the control group were given Tanshinone Capsule alone. The skin lesion score was determined, and the distribution of clinical outcomes was observed. ELISA was used to measure the serum levels of IL-1β and IL-6 before and after treatment. Results Both groups had a significant improvement in skin lesion score after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the degree of improvement between the two groups(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the distribution of clinical outcomes between the two groups (P<0.05). Both groups showed significant reductions in the serum levels of IL-1β and IL-6 after treatment (P<0.05),and the treatment group had significantly greater reductions than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Red-blue light combined with Tanshinone Capsule has a better clinical effect than Tanshinone Capsule alone in the treatment of acne vulgaris, possibly by regulating patients' immune response.
