Abstract:Objective:The protective effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on the stress gastric mucosal damage induced by constrained cold stress rats was studied.Method:18 rats were randomly divided into 3 groups,i.e.control,model and EA.A model of gastric mucosal damage induced by constrained cold stress was established.Gastric mucosal blood flow(GMBF),Gastric mucosal lesion index(LI),the contents of tumor necrosis factor(TNF),prostaglandin I 2(PGI 2),and thromboxane A 2 (TXA 2)in plasma were detected.Result:The level of GMBF(P<0.01) and PGI 2(P<0.01) in plasma increased after EA at Zusanli(ST 36) points, the contents of TNF(P<0.01) and TXA 2(P<0.01) decreased. Conclusion:EA could protect gastric mucosal damage and TNF plays a critical role in it.
